Thoughts for the practice tee

Always have a target to aim for.

Treat your irons as individual clubs.
Learn to hit the 6 iron and work your way up and down until.                                  you're consistent.

Learn to hit a fairway wood if you slice your driver.

Take your time.
on the course you have time in between hits and you should on the range too.

Develop your tempo.
try making a playlist to listen to while practicing.

Correct each mis hit

Focus on one thing at a time

Dont change your swing the day before you hit the course

If in doubt seek help from a PGA professional

Dont forget to practice putting.
your putter is the most used club in your bag.

simple body weight workout

This is a hard core workout to get you in shape. Complete each exercise with as many reps as possible. Rest 30 seconds between exercises. This is perfect for people getting ready for the military( just add running). Pullups (overhand, underhand, and straight grip) Pushups (flat, feet on something, and hands on something(2ft high)). Shoulder push ups (body vertical on wall) Resistance band curls Prisioner Squats Jumping lunges Flutter kicks Reverse crunches Situps Crunches Plank Fin the order that is best for you. I try and alternate muscle groups. Usually 2-3 sets maxes out on reps. Try doing a different variation each set (pull up grip, type of push up, ect...)

Golf Club Distances

These are just average distances for the most common clubs in the bag.  I try to practice aiming around this area when I practice so I will know which club to play on the course.

*Side Note: You can usually play one club longer with a easier swing and accomplish a better shot.  ex. 150 yards play a 7i partial swing instead of a 6i full swing.
